Fit is excellent!

I heard that this sheath has a reputation for not fitting the TPF Defense well, but I am happy to confirm that this is not the case! This sheath holds the blade steady and provides good positive contact, while still allowing for easy removal. I put a Utiliclip on mine to use as an in-pocket carry, highly recommend as an alternative to the included leather sheath (although that is an interesting design as well).

Good not Great alternative to leather sheath.

I purchased this sheath to have a more modular alternative to the leather sheath the TPF comes with. It does hold the knife well enough but does have a noticeable problem. Once the TPF is sheathed it does not snap into place and there is sheath wobble. This can be corrected with a heat gun but I would have liked the fit to be ready out of box. This may be just my sheath but prospective buyers beware.

Disappointed

Finally back in stock, jump on the order, and it arrived today. Was excited to finally edc the knife, since the original sheath doesn't release the knife on draw. Low and behold... no real click when seated, but at least it holds. Now the straps. What the ever loving... the leather is shredding at the cut edge, because it's not like they could have just used some nylon straps and pull the dot snaps like virtually everyone else. No, they had to use 2, too short leather strips. Should have just gotten the rmj sparrow or something instead....

It's Good, not Great

Pros: options for carry included, holds knife ok, compact. Cons: fits loose in sheath... rattles and comes out if shaken upside down. The knife gently snaps in, not a secure hold. Overall scout carry or pocket carry adding a Clip It would be good. Neck carry may be a bit heavy and dangerous.

Skinny belts only

Best kydex sheath I own however the loops for scout carry must have been made for a 3/4” belt, it doesn’t fit my favorite belt

Doesn’t fit well

The sheath isn’t well defined and the fit is very loose. Considering it was back ordered for months one would think it would be perfect.

One of the worst

Don't waste your money on this. Really poorly made/designed. The knife rattles around in the sheath and barely retains the knife. I had to put it in my kydex sheath press and heat up part of it and shape it with my fingers just to retain the knife and even now, I don't really trust it. The sheath does not have enough kydex up along the handle on the finger groove side to get a good purchase on the handle. Truly a waste of money. This is one of the worst kydex sheaths I've come across and I own dozens.

Pretty bad

Bought this when I bought the knife since I like kydex sheaths for edc. I get that this is mass produced but its like they used a different knife for the mold. Even though mine does have a click as it snaps in, it is ridiculously loose in the sheath. Rattles all over and I have to wonder if the blade tip is coming in contact with the grommet at the end. Even the thumb rest isn't comfortable. For the price, this is a clear fail. The leather sheath that comes with it is truly so much better. Don't waste your money on this plastic.
