Cons: Durability

Forgot to stabilize

These steak knives look fantastic and have a great handle shape for the purpose; however, two major points for me. First, the description does not indicate that the olive wood is stabilized and I would expect that after a time they will split. I might be wrong, but I would not risk it. Second, the complexity of construction (see locking folder) does not warrant the cost. I would go $100 for the pair but not $170 especially as not stabilized.
