Great Stones

The 1000 grit is a great stone for setting your razor's bevel. Stone is a good width and length and comes in a plastic case designed to keep the stone in place while you hone. Perfect!

Good sharpening stones for a straight razor…

Good to make a usable essential sharp straight razor. If you are looking for a more comfortable blade you should look to finer grit stones or diamond strop pastes (with more chances to cut yourself!).

Nice large stone

This is a nice wide stone if hand sharpening large blades. It's advertised as a water stone but feels very hard, more like Norton oil stones I've used in the past. I purchased japanese water stone at the same time and prefer its softer feel.
