don't go around spearing your steak with one of these...
I used this knife first on a perfectly medium rare boneless ribeye and it worked better than any steak knife I've ever used. Flawless cutting. However, the next day I noticed that the tip had gotten a tad folded over. I don't recall being tough on the knife or doing anything to damage the tip. So, I steeled the knife tip back to straight, but it never got back the utterly sharp point it came with. I purchased four of these, and will definitely use them, but I suspect the steel is rather soft. So, while the knife is exquisite at cutting steak when brand new, don't go around spearing your steak with one of these... it may bend it in half.
