Unfortunately, a review by: Yigo, from, Guam, of this knife with The DeSantis Sheath has disappeared into the internet ether, when the sheath was discontinued. He had good insights into this knife, and the 5160 steel. One thing he recommended was to lightly sand the handle, then, treat it with Ballistol wipes. I took his advise, and was pleased with the results. Works well on leather sheaths, too.
