Nice little Schrade
I bought this because it's a American made Schrade. I thought it would be a little small - it is. Although it's quite manageable. I thought the blade is different from what I usually get - it is. Although it's a very useful blade. I like it plenty and very satisfying with it. It could use thumb studs and maybe some jigging on the back end of the spine of the knife just a person preference. It's sharp and tough and no doubt sturdy. I personally like steel handles so that's not a problem with me. This knife is designed for purpose. It'll be a work horse on any project. I diffidently like Schrade's American made knifes. I have few of the new ones and a few of the old ones. I don't mind some of Schrade's import ones also. On a personal note: as long as the Schrade import is an original design and not a copy of something traditional or classic. They are inexpensive, sharp, have good designs and useful. Those I don't worry so much if they get lost or get broken. So back to this one I recommend this purchase. Like I said it has purpose.
