Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Sheath, Weight
Cons: Handle Feel
Awesome value for the price 4.5-ish
I was a little hesitant on this knife at first, but after carrying it for several weeks and putting it through some decently hard use in my day to day work. The action is super snappy, crisp, and easy to manipulate with the flipper stud. The lock works and releases the blade easily. The blade cuts well, and has maintained an edge fairly well also. I have touched up the blade lightly with a stone and a leather strop 2-3 times in the last month when I was using this more regularly. It's not flashy, and it doesn't try to pretend to be a super high-end blade, which I really appreciate. It's a budget friendly competent slicing knife that has a good classic look and feel. The one thing I would point out is the backstrap is fairly open. If you're working on an especially tough cutting target, and having to really grip the handle hard, it can bite into the meat of your palm slightly. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars, and really it should be more like 4.5 out of 5. If you wear light gloves, the backstrap thing isn't a problem, but I feel like plenty of manufacturers have come up with ways to fill that space to avoid exactly this problem, and still maintain a similar price point. So it's solvable, if they should so choose.
