Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Cutjack Quality
A well thought out and designed knife. The blade finger choil and spine thumb jimping provides a comfortable full four finger grip while offering choke up fine blade control. The SS liner lanyard hole is pronounced and well situated, encouraging adding a lanyard for handle grip extension. The liner lock engages fully half of the blade tang. The clip is of spring steel, allowing easy flexibility for pocket carry, compared to machined titanium clips' tendency for bending and snapping with use. The flipper détente is firm, yet still allows quick blade employment. The Cutjack Mini compares favorably with the Ferrum Forge/WE/Massdrop Falcon knife with similar features, but with the added benefit of premium M390 blade steel. Even the rich blue color of the G10 scales is esthetically attractive rather than garish. The knife's presentation packaging is nice for its price point, too. Everything about the knife suggests rugged construction and attention to details designed for its use. It's rapidly becoming one of my favorites, and I'm actually now in the process of making up its lanyard, with a nice little kneeling Spartan warrior figure bead. ;)
