This mini version of the Cutjack C22-2 is perfect for those who want an everyday carry knife that is heavy on style and versatility and light on weight and size. The Cutjack Mini feels just right in the hand and has all the great design features and benefits of the full-size Cutjack. This flipper is Steel Will's take on the perfect multi-purpose everyday knife and the C22M model features premium Bohler-Uddeholm M390 super steel and textured G10 handle scales. The Cutjack's high flat grind ensures excellent cutting properties while the superior handle ergonomics and finger choil allow for a secure and comfortable grip in multiple positions. The blade deploys quickly and smoothly thanks to the stainless steel ball bearings and convenient flipper. Lightweight, compact, and durable, this knife may be carried unobtrusively using the stylish pocket clip which is reversible for right or left-hand tip-up carry.

Known as a super-steel, M390 is a premium powdered stainless steel featuring excellent corrosion resistance and very high hardness for excellent wear resistance. Bohler-Uddeholm M390 is known to take a fine edge and hold it!

G10 is one of the most popular materials used to manufacture knife handles. It has excellent strength properties. It is also non-flammable, non-conductive and has excellent moisture resistance. G10 glass fiber laminate is based on epoxy resins and fiberglass. Visually G10 has a pronounced fibrous structure. G10 can have different colors, depending on the color of the base fabric.

I Wanted to Love it
Aesthetics, ergos, and blade steel are excellent and I love the blue. It is almost exactly what I wanted in a flipper EDC. The problem is that is an intermittent flipper, and that defeats the purpose. While some will disagree I prefer the ZT 0450, as a flipper, in this size range, although the Mini's steel is superior. For a non-flipper, if you like the Mini's ergos, try the Spydie Caly 3. In terms of flipper performance, this is comparable to the Spydie Mantra - a solid knife, with exotic steel, but not a reliable flipper. However I think Steel Will is turning out quality products. If you are looking for a very nice flipper from them, try the Modus.

Cutjack Quality
A well thought out and designed knife. The blade finger choil and spine thumb jimping provides a comfortable full four finger grip while offering choke up fine blade control. The SS liner lanyard hole is pronounced and well situated, encouraging adding a lanyard for handle grip extension. The liner lock engages fully half of the blade tang. The clip is of spring steel, allowing easy flexibility for pocket carry, compared to machined titanium clips' tendency for bending and snapping with use. The flipper détente is firm, yet still allows quick blade employment. The Cutjack Mini compares favorably with the Ferrum Forge/WE/Massdrop Falcon knife with similar features, but with the added benefit of premium M390 blade steel. Even the rich blue color of the G10 scales is esthetically attractive rather than garish. The knife's presentation packaging is nice for its price point, too.Everything about the knife suggests rugged construction and attention to details designed for its use. It's rapidly becoming one of my favorites, and I'm actually now in the process of making up its lanyard, with a nice little kneeling Spartan warrior figure bead. ;)
