I carried and used one like it for 25 years. It was my favorite knife. The serrated teeth on the old one are rounded off and the locking spring is wore out. I liked it so much that I decided to retire it and get another one. I'm looking forward to another 25 years with this one.
All around great pocket knife i have the serrated blade its stays sharp pretty much on everything i do i use the knife every day doing construction and other day today things. It is easy two sharpen and stays four a good amount of the use depending on how and what you are doing with it
I don't use this knife lol it sits in my safe and looks pretty, Blade shape is great, only thing I don't like about it is the weight but that comes with being all steel.
Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel, Handle Material, Pocket Clip
I have bought this knife with the every day intent to use it. Since I've owned it I have shave my balls , Cut the umbilical cord of my firstborn , widened the anus hole of my first wife and have circumcised I first born . Love the knife great tool recommended it to my rabbi
Pros: Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Pocket Clip
Excellent blade.
I've been carrying mine for over 10 years. I'm a retail deputy sheriff and would never leave the house without it. A word of advice, put a drop of blue loctite on the screws on the clip. Those little buggers can come loose. Other than that, it's a great backup weapon if you can't get to your .45.
For any Man (or Woman) of Action-no matter what level you take it to, there are certain items that should be mandatory. A Cold Steel Recon folding knife, a Swiss Army knife (the real deal Victorinox!), a back up snubnose revolver, a small tactical flashlight, a Seiko Automatic Dive watch and a Spyderco Serrated Police folder. One would be hard pressed to find a better, more savage, last ditch defensive tool. I own three-so one is always with me, my motorcycle and my truck. Having served proudly as a Marine, a Sailor, a Soldier and a contractor-I know what my vital gear is, and what works. I also own two Spyderco Civilian models-but the Police model has the extra thrusting capability-for when the ball drops and you need to dance. The only improvements I can see would be a black out finish and a slightly tighter grip with the pocket clip.
I gave this product away as a Christmas Gift to my brother and he stated that while having the knife clipped to his front right pocket, it broke off when he nudged it against his apartment doorway. This will be his second Spyderco Police Knife and he loves the knife very much. The first one was misplaced or stolen which is why I bought this one for him.
