Great knife for the price, i have been using this for a few weeks now for my EDC and this little thing can handle any task i throw at it, cut through vacuum seeled containers which are annoying to open, hard thick plastic, food, wood, string. It is a great knife for a tool, but for combat purposes id recommend getting a knife with a slightly larger handle
I've had this knife for about 6 months and absolutely love it. It disappears into a shirt pocket, or clips onto a pant pocket to be easily deployed. High quality steel cuts fishing line, cardboard, paracord, lose threads,etc... This is a useful light duty knife. My bigger bulkier knives often get left home. This is a one hand deployable knife that doesn't look scary, or draw unwanted attention.
I carry it every day and perform task like opening boxes and parcels. I even take it on my Sunday fishing trip. So far it perform exceptional well and the lightness is phenomenal.
Spyderco's quality control is excellent. a bit pricey for a small knife, but I'm not complaining. Don't have much use for it (I'm more of a fixed blade blue collar guy) but I love it. It's very tempting to collect the sprint runs of this knife series.
I had a Spyderco Dragonfly, the first model with the integral pocket clip and loved it. But so did my daughter, so you know who has it now. This model is a vast improvement in every way. Also, Knifecenter' got it to me earlier than expected. I'm happy. Thank you all !!
It is a beautiful knife, very sharp, but that's pretty much where my admiration for this little piece on this ends. I'm a huge fan of Spyderco, I have owned or own: native, military, paramilitary 2, tenacious, and now this little dragonfly. The blade came very off center, rubbing up against the side of the handle. On top of that, it is extremely tight to open and takes up a little more effort than one would expect to close. I may have gotten a lemon, but I can't say that I will be carrying this, it'll just be another piece to add to the collection.
