Great Knife

Hard to believe nobody has reviewed this one yet. Great little (big) knife! This has become my go-to EDC over a broad range of other Spydercos and Benchmades. I do a lot of food prep, garden maintenance, and other "wet" work in my day-to-day chores, and this knife handles it all with aplomb. The blade stock is quite thick, so I have no concerns about the tip snapping. Speaking of the tip, it's relatively blunted which is great for safety but still able to get into things when needed. It's big, dang near 4 inches, but the handle and blade width let you get all kinds of grips on it. The size and maneuverability are particularly useful for food, and the H1 steel lets me just wash it and dry it with some soap without worrying too much at all about anything else. I have a PM2, a Mini Bug Out, a RAT 1, and many other well-known folders, but this is what I turn to first every day. In my opinion the only negative is the lock, and that is simply because I personally prefer the compression lock design for safety reasons, but I can see why that would be a less ideal solution for the design intent of this knife.

Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Pocket Clip
Cons: Handle Material

Great EDC for the fisherman

My go to EDC knife. I fish offshore routinely and was looking for a saltwater resistant folding knife, lightweight, Love the H1 steel and no need to worry about rust. The only negative is the section of handle that is exposed while clipped in my pocket has faded in 6 months. It’s only cosmetic but it is noticeable? .
