Nothing Like It!
The Jumpmaster 2 is an ideal knife for close body carry 24:7. It will not rust! It's light and strong. It can be worn without discomfort over long periods (sheath is excellent for close body carry). The handle fits a medium sized hand well. The blade steel is the best that I know of (no rust and keeps a good edge). I consider this the best knife available for day and night carry with lots of use. In my estimate, the Jumpmaster is one of the best medium sized utility/survival/fighting knives available. But it's a matter of how you use your knife, and what you want. If you want a light, well balanced stay alive knife, try the Jumpmaster. You won't be disappointed. I'd also like a short (15"" blade) fencing epe (with a simple rounded pistol grip with lanyard hole) in triangular H1 steel. It would be a fantastic development by Spyderco! You can call it the Fencing Master! It would be an awesome combination with the Jumpmaster 2! You would have a utility/survival/fighting knfe (the Jumpmaster), and its larger fighting brother, the Fencing Master. Hope to see it one of these days. I'll do my best to order 20 of these swords as soon as you make them.
