Worth every penny

The stock pictures don’t do it justice. This thing is gorgeous. Definitely a niche product, but the maker nailed it. I’m a sucker for micarta and carbon steel, if you like those attributes you’ll love this cleaver. I was concerned about the 6” blade length (maybe not enough mass) but this thing goes through bone like butter. Don’t chop your cutting board in half...

I now have a "set" of 5 Svord blades (mostly Von Tempsky). Attracted by durability and beautiful colorful rough heat treated unfinished appearance. Prices competitive and shipping speedy

Heavy Duty Chopper

I mainly use this cleaver for separating large poultry into pieces, and chopping up other types of leftovers. It is the most heavy duty cleaver I have ever seen. I'm sure it will rust if you do not keep it cleaned dried and oiled after every use. The handle is very nice and comfortable. It looks and feels badass. Wielding this tool might make the other pitmasters jealous.
