Best sharpener Ever!

Perfect, yes pricey. I have owned 3 shitty other sharpeners. Plus took my 8 & 4 inch main wusthof 2 be sharpened. Bad job. Since my wife bought me this, knowing I only by the best cause I hate wasting money. Seriously, best knife sharpener around!

Best knife sharpener on the planet

The Wicked Edge is far and away the best knife sharpener on the market. It is easy to use with very little learning curve and results in a very keen edge. The design makes it almost idiot proof and anyone should be able to use it effectively. One of the critical factors of a sharp edge is matching angles as closely as possible and this product excels in that very area. The clamp holds the knife very sturdy leaving both hands to use the stones freely. This means almost all possible error is removed from the user and evens the field for those who cannot adapt to freehand sharpening. Watching the edges progress from mediocre to top notch is educating and very enlightening. I applaud the inventor and would highly recommend a Wicked Edge to anyone who wants to improve their sharpening skills and the performance of their knives.

Wicked Edge is Wicked Sharp!!!!

I have never been able to put a good edge on my knives, They were usually more dull than when I started to sharpen them in the first place, But with the Wicked Edge Sharpener, The second knife I sharpened came out seriously sharp, I cut myself testing the edge before I was even done with the process. With this sharpener, Anyone should be able to achieve a wicked sharp edge!!

It works but costs too

I bought mine from their website direct. Wish i knew they had upgrades on the way. It cost $145 more to get what I need. The cost has been excessive. I get great results but wish i didn't need to spend more than i already have.

Quite limited

Great sharpener to get a very precise edge on quite a few knives but still a lot of knives that are not wide enough to be sharpened at a lower angle.. Half of my slim kitchen knives that I don't want to sharpen at 40 degrees I just end up grinding the wicked edge, not touching the edge. Works fine on a Medford Praetorian or a lot of other knives with a not very slim blade, or even a slim blade at a 40 degree angle but if I would've known how useless it is for setting a 30 degree angle on something slim, even on a Delica I would never have bought it. Especially at a pricepoint like this it should do what it claims.
