All Artisan Cutlery Wizard folding knives feature premium CPM-S90V stainless steel with a blade length of approximately 3.5 inches. This high-end powdered metallurgy steel provides excellent wear resistance and long-lasting edge retention for everyday cutting tasks.
How does the Artisan Cutlery Wizard open and lock?
The Wizard uses a plunge button lock for secure lockup and smooth one-handed closing. For deployment, the knife provides multiple opening methods with both dual thumb studs and a front flipper.
What handle materials are available in the Wizard series?
The Wizard series is available in three distinct material tiers to fit different preferences and budgets. Options range from titanium handles with Arctic Storm FatCarbon inlays, to models accented with Timascus inlays, pivot collars, clips, and floating backspacers, up to a full Timascus handle build.
Is the pocket clip on the Wizard series reversible?
Yes, the pocket clip on the Artisan Cutlery Wizard is reversible for left- or right-hand carry. The clip fastens from the inside of the handle so there are no exposed screws on the exterior, and the knife includes a beveled filler tab to cleanly cover the unused side.
How do the ergonomics feel on the Wizard knife?
The handle provides a comfortable three-and-a-half finger grip in the primary handle section. A smooth ricasso area near the base of the blade also allows you to choke up with a forward finger choil grip for enhanced control during detailed work.
