The Doubletap uses CJRB Cutlery's Recoil-Lock V2, which pairs a crossbar lock mechanism with an integrated dorsal spine tab. You can disengage the lock either by pulling the side sliders or by sliding the top dorsal tab, both of which allow safe wrist-flick opening and closing while keeping your fingers out of the blade path.

Standard CJRB Doubletap models feature a 3.86-inch D2 tool steel blade built with a thicker stock for added strength. The blade geometry features a continuously curved cutting edge designed to handle demanding utility tasks and heavy slicing.

You can deploy the blade using the oversized thumb studs or by holding back the Recoil-Lock V2 mechanism and flicking your wrist. Closing the knife is equally straightforward and finger-safe, allowing one-handed operation through either the spine tab or the side crossbar studs.

The handle provides a secure grip during standard cutting, and it features a large forward finger choil for choking up on the blade. Using the forward choil gives you added control over the cutting edge while providing extra handle clearance for larger hands.
