Designed by Jesper Voxnaes and manufactured in Italy, the Fox Core series features stout blade geometry and highly ergonomic handles for reliable performance. This series offers a variety of materials and blade shapes to suit different utility needs and preferences.

What materials are used in the Fox Core series?
The Fox Core series utilizes a wide range of materials, most commonly N690 stainless steel with injection-molded FRN handles. Premium models are also available with Elmax or M390 blade steel and upgraded handle materials like carbon fiber, Micarta, or aluminum.
Is the Fox Core suitable for heavy-duty work?
Yes, the Fox Core is built for durability with a blade thickness of approximately 5/32 of an inch and a flat grind. This stouter geometry makes the Fox Core series better for brute strength and heavy cuts rather than delicate detail work.
What blade shapes are available in the Fox Core series?
The Fox Core series offers several blade shapes to match different tasks, including drop point, tanto, and modified sheepsfoot designs. There is also a specialized hunter version that includes a guthook blade for field dressing.
How does the Fox Core handle feel in the hand?
The Fox Core features a contoured, hand-filling grip with a honeycomb texture that provides a very secure hold. The handle is designed to take advantage of your grip strength, though users with very wide hands might find the handle length slightly short.
What is the opening mechanism on these knives?
Fox Core folders typically feature a ball-bearing pivot for fast deployment via an integrated flipper tab. Most models also include a blade cutout that allows for manual opening without using the flipper.
