The Kizer Hallow series utilizes CPM-10V, an ultra-premium powder metallurgy carbon super steel. This steel is highly regarded for its exceptional toughness and outstanding edge retention. Because CPM-10V is a carbon steel and can be prone to corrosion, Kizer applies a protective coating, such as a black traction or PVD finish, to shield the blade from moisture and rust.

The Kizer Hallow features a utilitarian blade profile that blends a modified sheepsfoot with an industrial reverse tanto.
