Kizer Mash Folder FAQ

Designed in partnership with Divo Knives, the Kizer Mash folder combines high-performance M390 blade steel with an innovative button-actuated compression-style lock. Available in several premium handle configurations, it offers an ergonomic and capable cutting platform for everyday carry.

How does the lock on the Kizer Mash work?
The Kizer Mash uses a button-actuated liner lock mechanism that operates similarly to a compression lock. Pressing the custom-shaped button flexes the lock bar to release the tang, letting the blade swing closed smoothly while keeping your fingers out of the blade path.
What blade steel does the Kizer Mash use?
All current models in the Kizer Mash series use premium Bohler M390 stainless steel. Paired with a 3.21-inch modified sheepsfoot profile and a hollow grind, this steel provides outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance with excellent slicing geometry.
Is the pocket clip on the Kizer Mash reversible?
Yes, the Kizer Mash features a reversible pocket clip suitable for both right- and left-handed tip-up carry. The clip is milled from titanium with faceted contours for improved ergonomics in hand, and it includes a flush filler plate for the unused side.
What handle materials are available on the Kizer Mash?
The Kizer Mash is offered with several handle configurations across the lineup. Depending on the variant, options include lightweight black aluminum as well as high-end composites like Purple Haze FatCarbon and Shipwreck CamoCarbon.
Who designed the Kizer Mash?
The Mash is an official design collaboration between Kizer Cutlery and Divo Knives. It merges Divo's functional blade shape and flowing ergonomic lines with Kizer's precision production capabilities.
