The Morakniv Risberg adds a lanyard hole in the handle, a smooth finished spine along the top of the blade, and a symmetrical ambidextrous sheath. Unlike the standard Basic sheath, the Risberg sheath accepts the blade facing either direction for easy left- or right-handed carry.

The Morakniv Risberg series is available in either 12C27 stainless steel or high carbon steel that performs similarly to 1095. Stainless variants provide enhanced stain resistance, while carbon steel options offer traditional performance that is easy to sharpen in the field.
