NexTORCH MT20 Pioneer Multi-Tools

The NexTORCH MT20 Pioneer is built as a tactical and rescue hybrid, featuring both full-size emergency shears and a full-size set of pliers. The shears have blunted tips and offset jaws designed to safely slide under clothing without injuring a patient, while the tool also includes dedicated first-responder features like an oxygen tank wrench, a glass breaker, and a spring-loaded cutter for zip ties and plastic restraints.

The MT20 Pioneer includes full-size rescue shears, offset pliers with wire cutters, a one-hand opening knife blade, a wood saw, a strap cutter, a spring-loaded plastic restraint cutter, an oxygen wrench, a glass breaker, and an offset flathead driver. Both the knife blade and saw feature liner locks for safety during use. The tool does not include a Phillips head screwdriver.

The MT20 Pioneer knife blade is made from 5Cr stainless steel. While 5Cr is a straightforward, budget-friendly steel, it offers good corrosion resistance and is easy to sharpen back to a working edge in the field.

The tool includes a heavy-duty nylon sheath equipped with a MOLLE-compatible snap strap and horizontal belt carry options. For first responders wanting faster deployment, NexTORCH also produces an optional rapid-access synthetic hard sheath in the $20 range.

The NexTORCH MT20 Pioneer series comes with stainless steel handles in multiple colorway options, including Obsidian Black, Gray Stonewash, Matte Red, and Guardian Blue.
