The Spartan-Nemec series utilizes CPM-S35VN stainless steel for all blade variants. This series offers several handle options including sculpted Carbon Fiber, Titanium, and glass-filled nylon (GFN) in various colors such as black, blue, gray, and tan. These materials provide different weight profiles and textures, with the carbon fiber and GFN models offering a particularly lightweight feel for pocket carry.

The Spartan-Nemec features a very slim, pen-like profile and a discrete wire clip that makes it nearly invisible in a pocket. The clip is reversible for left or right-hand carry and is light enough for secure attachment to a shirt pocket or dress slacks. This design makes it a top contender among ultra-slim EDC pocket knives.
