SRM 7228 Rubik Folding Knife

The SRM 7228 Rubik series features either 10Cr15CoMoV stainless steel or a laminated 140Cr14OV3NB steel, depending on the variant you choose. The laminated option utilizes a specialized stainless steel center core that offers a balance of hardness, toughness, and edge retention comparable to CPM-S35VN.

You can swap the pocket clip on the SRM 7228 Rubik without any tools by utilizing SRM's proprietary pinch-swappable design. Simply pinch the forks of the pocket clip together to release it, pull it out of the handle, and slide it into the slot on the opposite side for quick, ambidextrous adjustment.

The SRM 7228 Rubik uses an ambidextrous crossbar lock (which SRM calls the Ambi-Lock). This lock provides a strong, reliable lockup and allows you to safely close the blade one-handed without ever placing your fingers in the path of the cutting edge. The SRM 7228 Rubik utilizes a folded steel frame instead of a traditional multi-piece liner construction. This design reduces the number of individual parts and screws needed to assemble the handle, resulting in a lighter overall weight and a highly rigid, stable platform.

The SRM 7228 Rubik features a 3.4-inch to 3.43-inch drop point blade with a generous belly. This profile makes it excellent for general-purpose slicing, broader utility tasks, and outdoor camp chores, though it does not feature a Scandi grind for dedicated woodcrafting.
