What blade shape does the WE Knife Ignio use?
The WE Knife Ignio features a highly unique blade profile often referred to as a “Wharnto,” which is a hybrid blending a Wharncliffe and a tanto blade shape. This angular, faceted geometry resembles a modern Nesmuk design and provides a versatile, distinctive cutting edge.
What blade steel is used on the WE Knife Ignio?
Standard models in the WE Knife Ignio series are equipped with premium CPM-20CV stainless steel, which offers outstanding edge retention and corrosion resistance. How are the handle and hardware constructed on the Ignio?
The handle is made of contoured titanium scales joined together seamlessly with a highly clean aesthetic that eliminates visible backspacers or body screws. The only exposed hardware is the pivot screw, the pocket clip screw, and the screw for the lock bar insert, which also acts as an overtravel arrestor.
How do you open the WE Knife Ignio?
The WE Knife Ignio can be deployed using either the flipper tab or by reverse flicking the blade using the integrated blade cutout. Both deployment methods offer smooth, reliable action in the hand.
