The WE Knife Qubit takes a popular lightweight design and elevates it with premium titanium handles and top-tier blade steels. Engineered with an exceptionally thin, flat-ground blade, this series is optimized for effortless everyday slicing.

What is the difference between the WE Qubit and the Civivi Cubit?
The WE Knife Qubit features premium materials, a larger blade, and a cleaner profile when closed compared to the original Civivi version. While it retains the same compact pocket footprint and handle size, the blade has been lengthened to 3.2 inches. Additionally, WE upgraded the handles to titanium, utilizes high-end CPM-20CV or Damasteel blades, and removed the integrated bottle-opener hook that was on the Civivi version.
What blade steel options are available for the WE Qubit?
The WE Qubit is available with either CPM-20CV or Fafnir Damasteel blades. For maximum edge retention and everyday cutting performance, the CPM-20CV option is recommended as it will hold a sharp edge for a exceptionally long time. The Damasteel version is a powder metallurgy steel based on RWL 34 (analogous to CPM-154), offering decent toughness and striking looks, though it will not match the outright edge retention of CPM-20CV.
How does the WE Qubit perform in hand and during use?
The WE Qubit is designed as an ultra-efficient slicer rather than a heavy-duty tactical tool. Thanks to its famously thin edge and full flat grind, the blade cuts with laser-like efficiency. The handle features a neutral shape that accommodates both large and small hands comfortably.
Is the WE Qubit pocket knife ambidextrous?
Yes, the WE Qubit is fully ambidextrous and highly accessible for both left- and right-handed users. The button lock mechanism is easy to operate with either hand, and the titanium pocket clip is reversible to allow for left- or right-side pocket carry.
