Most models in the WE Knife Sine Wave series use M390 stainless steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and corrosion resistance. Certain high-end versions feature Damasteel, which is a powder metallurgy product based on RWL34 that prioritizes visual aesthetics without sacrificing high performance.

The Sine Wave series utilizes a nested liner lock rather than a standard frame lock. This design choice allows the intricate machining and milling on the titanium handles to remain consistent across both sides of the knife while maintaining a secure and reliable locking mechanism.

The Sine Wave uses a subtle, low-profile front flipper tab located at the top of the handle. This allows the blade to rocket open quickly while ensuring that no traditional flipper tab protrudes from the bottom of the knife when open, allowing for a closer grip and better control near the cutting edge. This makes it a unique entry among flipper pocket knives.
