This ArtisanCutlery Predator is a compact, mid-size flipper. The handle is comfortable in the hand, while the finger choil allows for a comfortable forward grip. The blade is 2.76" and crafted from D2 tool steel. This air-hardened, semi-stainless tool steel is more corrosion resistant than other high carbon steels due to its high chromium content and offers a good mix of toughness, wear resistance, and edge holding ability. The handles are made from carbon fiber scales over stainless steel liners and include a stainless steel pocket clip set up for right or left-hand tip-up carry.
The Artisan Cutlery Predator Flipper Knife 2.76" D2 Stonewashed Drop Point Blade is a small but quite robust folder that has a very sharp blade, fast and consistent flipper tab deployment, solid liner lockup, well-textured scales, and gives the impression of a very solid knife that can handle any small to medium EDC task. The contoured handle finger choil shape also lends itself to various grip options while maintaining a good grip. There is light jimping on the blade spine as well as on the handle where the lock pin is located. The pocket clip works well with jeans and most slacks.
