The ArtisanCutlery Hoverwing is a sturdy and stylish flipper that is great for everyday use. Its ergonomic handle shape and slim form factor allow it to fit comfortably in the hand. This knife sports a long 3.94" drop point blade made from D2 tool steel. This carbon steel is known for its ability to hold up in harsh conditions and still hold an edge. The handles are made from skeletonized steel and include a steel pocket clip set up for tip-up right or tip-down left carry options. Used my $50 KnifeCenter giftcard on a lower cost blade and was not disappointed. The Hoverwing has a bit of weight to it, but isn't heavy. Razor sharp out of the box and great balanced feel in the hand. Flipping action is very smooth. Love the design, especially the Grey color. Very happy with it. Nice value for the price.

Just received this knife today and I am amazed by the quality vs price paid! The fit & finish is excellent! The coating on the steel feels so good in the hand. The action is amazing. I haven't owned many high quality knives and my comparison base is limited, but I can't imagine a better knife for the price. Only time will tell how it holds up, but my initial impressions are A+. Razor sharp, No blade play, Smooth Action, Great finish! Only downside I can find so far, is that it seems to nice, to want to beat it all up with super dirty jobs! It definitely seems to be built tough enough to stand up to them, but what a shame to screw up such a nice finish! Might be a little heavy for some, but to me just feels like quality! I will try to update this after putting it through some use, but couldn't be happier with what came out of the box!
