ACU1843GDRC: Arion Folding Knife, Burgundy Micarta and Titanium

Artisan Cutlery

The Arion is a folding knife from Artisan Cutlery that has a surprisingly big bite. The spear point blade is wider than the width of the handles, leading to a pleasant surprise when the knife is opened. The blade is made from high-quality S35VN, a favorite for high-end knives, and is smoothly deployed on ball bearings with a thumb groove. The presenting handle scale is burgundy micarta, while the back is textured titanium, providing an attractive look without sacrificing grip or functionality. This knife is fun to use and is definitely one we would recommend. It comes with a titanium pocket clip and hidden lanyard hole for ease of carrying.

First Artisan Cutlery, I’m impressed!
I have handled several Artisan Cutlery knives, and have always felt they make quality knives, but this is the first time I’ve owned one. I’m impressed. Fit and finish is as good as any top knife brand I’ve owned. Micro milling on the lock side is beautiful. Action is smooth. No play whatsoever. Clip works exactly as it should, good retention, and slides in and out of the pocket easily. Micarta is a beautiful deep red. Good larger edc size. No complaints at all on this knife.

Excellent knife!
This really is a great knife. It came well centered, with good fit and finish. The action is smooth as butter, and the blade was extremely sharp. I really like the micarta handle too. The clip is done well with good retention yet slides in and out of the pocket with ease, and at least for my hand, does not create any hot spots. The neutral handle feels good in the hand in any grip, and it has a nice thin slicey grind.. I have a lot of knives, and usually carry a different one every day, but since I got the Arion 3 days ago, it's been in my pocket non stop. I highly recommend this knife.
