Now in 2025, the updated Orthodox V2 delivers the improvements fans have been asking for. The most significant upgrade is the transition to a true hollow grind with thinner blade stock, offering enhanced sharpness and cutting performance. The blade is made from ArtisanCutlery's AR-RPM9 steel, making it easy to sharpen, and it has excellent corrosion resistance. The flipper has been redesigned for smoother, more reliable action while maintaining a discreet profile by utilizing ceramic ball bearings in the pivot. Additional refinements include an expanded sharpening choil for improved control and a new gunstock-shaped handle that enhances grip and handling without straying from the knife’s iconic look.
