I got this because I really want the metal version, but wanted to check out the actual feel of the unique design.That being said, I will be ordering more of these for friends and family. They fit nice in my IDbadge pocket I wear on a lanyard at my daily job. I tested this piercing standard weight cardboard 3 layers thick. Went through like butter. So for soft C.Q. targets in a defensive capacity I think it's excellent. The open design can be griped forward or reverse and will fit a pretty good sized mit, and feel solid. Great non metallic buy!!
