Specifically built for anything that needs to be cut. This compact fixed blade neck knife with tough handles has been given a throwback cleaver blade that always sparks campfire conversation. In the camp kitchen or around the house it feels equally at home.
Alan Folts of Melbourne, Florida released the original design years ago and it has since expanded to a full line of outdoor fixed blade knives. This svelte dynamo packs a lot into its compact design. The 2.1" high-carbon stainless steel cleaver safely rips through food packets or clothing thanks to the false front edge. The hole in the blade pays homage to the hanging hold on the old style kitchen cleavers.
The polished resin-infused fiber handle is built with deep ergonomic choils for a no-slip grip. A versatile sheath is equipped to work as a neck knife or slip easily onto a belt or attach to gear.

excellent blade
I purchased this blade because it looks cool and it was easy on the wallet. I never intended on using it long term because of the small handle. But the cordage at the end is just stiff enough to where my pinky will wrap around it naturally. Its not to stiff where it gets in the way but stiff enough to give you the feeling of having a full grip on it, I love it. The extra stability from the cordage makes it feel sturdy and capable of doing consistent work without issues.

Pleasure to use & smile-inducing!
Bought this for the cutesy novelty of it. I mean COME ON... it made me smile the minute I laid eyes on it! But as soon as I wrapped my hand around it & got to using it I realized that it's a dern-good design! From slicing small 'maters to opening dysfunctional packaging, or slicing up donuts to ration out to the family. It's even fun for whittlin' sticks! The handle (which is beautiful, g-10 style) & lanyard fit nice in the hand & the spine has a nice upward curve to place your thumb on for extra leverage. Never thought I'd wear a knife around my neck, but the scabbard is so good that it's becoming my weekend man-jewelry. (Wife DISAPROVES.) Hole is big enough to hang it up to dry next to my full size kitchen cleaver! Easy to sharpen as well. Might need to add the D2 version to my stable due to my frequent usage!!!
