BH15NE10BK: Nightedge Fixed Blade

BLACKHAWK!

Designed by renowned custom knifemaker Allen Elishewitz, the Nightedge is a full-sized fixed-blade knife inspired by the popular MOD Nightwing. Its serrated back edge optimizes the knife's utility and combat potential by providing a secondary edge suitable for heavy cutting, back cuts, and draw cuts. This unique grind also produces a reinforced point for extreme tip strength and penetration. To make this dramatic design more affordable to field soldiers on a budget, the Nightedge is ground from tough D2 tool steel and coated with a non-reflective, corrosion-resistant black PVD coating. Each Nightedge comes equipped with a black ballistic nylon sheath.

Great knife, crappy knife sheath
When i took this knife out of the box i said wow, it is great. But the sheath has no real way to mount it , maybe they should look at tops knives .their sheaths are ready out of the box . This crap that came with a great knife.

The knife is worth 5***** but unfortunately the sheath on mine is a bit too big so the knife does not fit perfectly.What I really disliked was the uneven grind. Fixed it myself, now it is one of my favorite knives. Great tip strength and very mean back cut abilities due to the serrations on the spine. It is a pretty narrow, thick blade so it does not cut as good as full flat ground blades but hey guys - this is no knife to use in the kitchen.
