The Boker Plus Kazhan designed by Alexander Krava is a handy neck knife with a short sheepfoot blade that is ideal as a backup knife for everyday use due to its light weight. The young knifemaker from Lviv, Ukraine, places particular emphasis on the aesthetics of his designs, which are convincing not only as reliable tools but also as high-quality accessories. The skeletonized Kazhan is made of D2 with a dark stonewash finish. Weight-reducing cut-outs and three-dimensional milling give the knife a very special look. Supplied with a lanyard, ball chain, and a custom-fit Kydex sheath.

D2 Tool Steel

With a chromium content of 12%, D2 — a tool steel — can certainly be classified as a stainless steel. Since its chromium content is right on the threshold, however, a little more care for the D2 wouldn't go amiss. As an upper-tier conventional steel, D2 offers great edge retention and stability, though sharpening it takes a little effort.
