BRADBCC907: Kimura Spear Point Balisong, Natural G10 Handle Scales

Bradley Cutlery Company

The Bradley Kimura balisongs are back and ready to rock! American-made with premium materials, these butterfly knives can take the fight to the big dogs.

The elegant spear point blade on the Kimura sports a graceful flat grind. 154CM steel makes it a solid performer with capable edge retention and corrosion resistance. Bronze washers help ensure consistent and smooth flipping action while Torx bits allow the user to maintain their knife as they see fit. The latch is also user-reversible to accommodate any flipping style. G10 handle scales provide plenty of traction, but they can be removed with a Torx bit if desired for a cleaner look or slimmer carry.

If you are looking for a USA-made butterfly knife to add to your collection, look no further. The Kimura definitely brings the goods: good looks, good utility, and good performance.

Pros: Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Type
Waste of money and time
One of the screws came out on the first flip and it won’t stay in and I can’t get it in. Don’t waste your money on this I am beyond pissed off that I wasted 100$ On this knife, would’ve been better off buying a 10$ one so that you can atleast replace it if it breaks, it’s probably better quality too.

Disappointed
It is an attractive knife. It's a bit heavier and shorter than I thought. Lock up is tight, both open and closed. Now for the bad. Got home, package was thrown over the fence. Picking up the package, I could feel the knife had come out of the box. No packing peanuts. The package did have bubble liner on the inside. Out of the bag, because the knife was not in the box. Crazy handle play, and blade tap. The torx holding the g10 to the liners were at all different levels. In places there was space between the liners and scales.1 had been tightened so much it went through the liner and scratched the blade. Oh man....just got rid of the g10 altogether. I was able to tune the pivots a bit....safe handle awesome. Bite handle just won't tighten anymore, it just spins. On the positive, I only threw away 100 bucks. Now flipping, this knife is short and heavy. So these handles fly back at you fast and hard. I almost feel like I'm a fraction of a second behind the knife. Making it look deliberate, overdone, a bit sloppy. Sometimes you have to experience subpar, in order to fully appreciate quality.....for the price, get the kershaw lucha, same weight, BUT longer, and thinner. That thing is very nice. Handles being longer and thinner, it just looks so much more fluid while flipping. Vs. Stopping starting clicking, with the bradley.

Good, not great.
I got this because the I really liked the green G-10 version that I had. For some reason this one did not came with the usual drawstring pouch but in a small plastic bag. It also came with rusted pivot torx that looks rounded from applying too much force. The blade was unsymmetrically sharpened but it is razor sharp out of the box. It's a little stiff but based on my experience with my other one, you have to break it in & it will flip just fine. I wish they pay more attention to their quality control but for the price, I guess they have to cut corners somewhere.
