The Alpha Beast is not only the flagship model for BRS, but possibly the front-runner for the balisong flipper community. Designed by and for flippers, the BRS Alpha Beast prides itself on breaking the accepted design cues of previous knives while fixating on weight, balance, and tactility. Built from the ground up with performance at the forefront of design. Dimensions are centered around optimal manipulation. It features Bladerunners System's Signature Chevron System for immediate and constant haptic feedback and grip. It is optimally balanced for a variation of flipping styles and is a BEAST on all fronts. There isn't a flex to be found in the handle and the smooth action yields excellent manipulation. The clip point blade shape and subtly milled titanium handle make for one darn good-looking butterfly knife that is superbly built for hard daily use. The 3.0 version of the Alpha Beast features BRS' new, more robust hardware in the form of a 0.187" pivot with T10 torx screws and 1/4" stainless steel bushings, sex bolt spacers, through tang clips and improved overall tolerances. Good, but damaged screw.
Fantastic flipper. Was hesitant to buy it at first, but then once I got it I was happy.One complaint that I cannot fathom is possible on a product that is almost $400. The screws are junk. JUNK! The head of one screw looks deformed to the point that if you ever try to disassemble the handle, the head will snap off. Buying screws in bulk for these should be dirt cheap, BRS couldn't just get good screws to start with?

Hands Down, Better Than The Rest...
I’ve owned and flipped them ALL... Hands down the best flipping production knife on the market. She’ll take the abuse of a ba***rd step child and still come back for more. Balanced as a top and flips better than the rest. Very predictable knife. Anyone who says anything else has no idea what a top tier flipper should feel like. You won’t be disappointed

Love it
Very well made, looks good feels good. I enjoy the weight and size of this Balisong. The titanium handles make a clink clack sound that is desirable, and this knife handles so well. Very impressed, well worth the money.
