Great belly for slicing. Great price for a high quality blade. Useful for a variety of purposes. Needs pressure to open but flies open.

Bestech Scimitar
I use this knife for EDC. When I ordered the knife I was worried that it would really be too big for EDC, but although that blade is large, closed it sit nicely in the pocket. The grip is very ergonomic, sits in the hand well and can be used with a variety of holds without interference. It is quick in the hand and a superb slicer. D2 is hard to sharpen, that is a property of D2, but once sharp it stays that way for a long time. This knife is surprisingly light and strong for what it is. This Bestech knife has a fit and finish that is well above its price. I have had knives at three times, or more, its price that were not as nicely finished as this Bestech Scimitar. It opens like it is on rails, no need for assisted opening, no extra flick needed for it to open. After using this knife for a few days, I went back to my old flip opener and I was surprised by how much extra I needed to get it fully open. The mechanism locks up tight and does not loosen up with use.
