BTKBG28B: BG28B Platypus Flipper Knife

Bestech Knives

The Platypus flipper loosely resembles the unique animal for which it shares its name. The sheepsfoot blade has a duck-bill profile and Wharncliffe cutting edge that rips and tears like no other. The handle forms a streamlined shape that puts the cutting edge closer to your knuckles for better transfer of force with each cut. It may not be your typical looking knife - or animal - but it definitely gets the job done and is the perfect piece for some of you out there. We enjoy its overall size in terms of both length and width, uniqueness of course, and action. It's a very nice knife.

Pros: Weight, Blade Material, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
An unusually interesting blade shape
It's a little hard to flip open, but that might be a good safety issue, because this is oneof the sharpest knives I've bought. I like the size/weight and feel in my hand but the shape of the blade is what drew me to this knife. Just a brief exam and use has made me aware of the quality materials and workmanship that has gone into this knife. It will be an EDC and well worth the price. As usual, fast efficient service from the KnifeCenter.
