Description
BTKBG51C: BG51C Slyther Flipper Knife - Black and Red G10
Bestech Knives
The Slyther is a mid-size flipper that excels in an EDC capacity thanks to its comfortable design. The blade is a reverse tanto design that provides a large cutting belly and a sturdy piercing point to handle whatever you need it for. It deploys quickly and with a satisfying snap with a push of the flipper tab and thanks to its excellent pivot construction. The handles are made of durable G10 and have a smooth finish that feels comfortable to hold and a tiered bevel on the front end of the handle that accommodates your fingers perfectly. The large finger groove aids in this giving a place for your index finger and locking the Slyther into your hand. The G10 backspacer has a recessed portion that allows the attachment of a lanyard in lieu of a lanyard hole. The Slyther is perfect for those looking for an EDC knife to carry them through their day-to-day.

Very slick looking knife
I admit I bought this knife purely for looks because I loved the interesting perforations in the blade, the reverse tanto blade shape, and the black G10 with the red accents. This knife opens and closes with ease and is perfectly centered. The blade stock is quite thick and robust and I feel like a total bad a** when I have it in my hand and flip it out. The blade right out of the box is razor sharp and easily passes the paper cutting test. I like the minor gimping along the blade spine and the choil. I can use the nail mark to flip out the blade with my thumb if you aren't interested in using the flipper. Often times, men can do this with their larger fingers and I'm not able to do that but I can do this with this knife. The pocket clip is quite generic and is flush against the G10, and I don't feel it digging into my palm when I hold the knife. All in all, I love this knife.
