Description
BTKBG52C2: Strelit Push Dagger Flipper - Orange G10/Two-Tone Satin/Black
Bestech Knives
The Strelit from Bestech Knives and designer Ostap Hel is one of the most interesting and unique knives we've seen. It combines the convenience and ease of access of a flipper, with the combat and utility potential of a push dagger or karambit. The knife rockets open on the ball bearings in the pivot and stops at the halfway mark, ready for use. The circular groove on the front of the knife when closed provides an alternate means of opening the blade and can even be utilized to open the knife straight from the pocket, similar to the Emerson Wave feature. The 14C28N blade bears a hawkbill profile much like a karambit that aids in a variety of tasks whether they be opening boxes or defending your person. The handle rests comfortably in your palm when using the knife, giving you support and comfort no matter how you choose to use the blade. The knife comes complete with a pocket clip and is available in a variety of handle options.

EXCEPTIONAL box cutter - not to be missed!
This a sweet sweet little bada$$ work knife that I use daily as a box cutter in my warehouse. It's small size and lightweight (thanks to the G10 handle scales) allow it to be carried conveniently in my right breast pocket. The hawkbill shaped blade EXCELS at ripping clean-through the taped-down seams and flaps of all our company's products that are sold in cardboard boxes. Even industrial filament tape cowers in fear before meeting its fateful death under this knife's 14C28N steel blade.Only one criticism: This knife model is my first with 14C28N blade steel. Although it indeed exhibits great edge retention (helped GREATLY in part by the hawkbill shape, I STILL HAVE NOT found need to sharpen the blade!!), I find this steel NOT EASY TO CLEAN. Since I am spending 100% of my work time slicing through tape with this PARTICULAR knife, the blade gunks-up quickly with adhesive residues and... although this is stainless steel, the glue stains never totally clean-up and fully wipe away ( I use citrus scented Goo Gone spray to clean the blade).
