The Ornetta is a stylish flipper design that can be pressed into tactical use and it absolutely shines as an everyday carry blade. The heavily curved G10 handle provides excellent grip in multiple positions. The beautiful grind lines transition into the deep blood groove and slotted thumb hole, offering multiple ways to open the blade. The handle is made of milled black/white G10 with horizontal lines running parallel to the blood groove. The blade is made of N690, a stainless steel with excellent edge retention. The action is quick and snappy thanks to caged ceramic bearings in the pivot. The Ornetta is a nice, slim EDC with plenty of style and a sure grip that we think will be a mainstay in your rotation for the foreseeable future.

The Bestech website describes the handle material as "Interlayer with Carbon Fiber and G10," which explains the grippy feeling/texture. It's a Kombou design, according to both the site and the marker's mark on the blade. Bestech isn't stingy here with the N690 steel, one of my favorites. As Kombou often specs, the build is sturdy and reliable. You can be confident with this one.
