It's a Buck knife, nuf said

I have owned Buck knives off and on my whole life, for hunting to everyday use. I have always found them to be of high quality and the materials used for longevity of use. This knife is no different. Buy them you will not be disappointed. About Knife Center, great company and great service, hard to find in these times.

Beautiful classic knife that you have to polish quite often

I've been admire this knife for years and finally got one from KnifeCenter last week. Right out of the box, the knife was a thing of beauty with its shiny walnut handles and robust blade. I also noticed the brass on the handle had tarnish on it, which I had to removed immediately with tarnish remover, the make sure it wasn't a manufacturing flaw. Once polished, my rag was quite black with tarnish. The tarnish is why this knife only gets 4 stars, because of the constant upkeep on many Buck knives with the carbon blade and brass accented handles. I also have a Buck 112 Ranger, which I have to polish several times a year because the blade and the brass tarnish.
