The Gobi flipper is a mid-size pocket knife that is all slim curves. The handles are made from G10 and have a curved profile that adheres to the hand like a glove. The handle scales have been smoothed and contoured to make holding this knife as comfortable as possible. The serpentine style of the knife is continued in the trailing point blade. It has plenty of belly and a thin piercing point for a ton of versatility. The Gobi comes with an aluminum backspacer that extends into a lanyard hole and a reversible pocket clip.
This knife is now being produced with AR-RPM9 steel, however, the original D2 version may still be shipping. If you have a specific steel preference, please include a note in the comments section at checkout for which steel you prefer. An EDC that turns heads
Of all the EDC blades I carry in my rotation, this one turns heads. Good action, sharp blade, but the look is unique and my friends love it because it’s got its own thing going. Affordability and quality are those two characteristics CJRB has that knife enthusiasts looking for and the Gobi has it in spades.

I bought this as a gift and it appears to have the quality. It is shaving sharp, smooth opening, and ease of the linerlock. The only nitpick is the screws on the pocket clip, i.e. the swap to lefty.

A win above it’s class!
What a nice EDC knife. We are so lucky to be living in a time where budget knives are delivering such high quality. The CJRB Gobi is a winner in it’s weight class and above. Materials and design aside, the construction of this knife is excellent for the price point. The Persian style blade offers plenty of edge as well as variety in a collection. Blade deploys smoothly and is nearly drop shut. Really, a very impressive effort by CJRB. Only issue was it was not paper cutting sharp out of box. Sharpened quickly and now it’s good to go.
