Introducing the Nova, a lightweight and handy addition to CJRB's lineup. It has a compound ground tanto blade inspired by classic Japanese tantos. Deployed via thumb studs, the blade rockets open and secures firmly thanks to ceramic ball bearings in the pivot. The blade itself is made from proprietary AR-RPM9 stainless steel which is similar in function to D2, perfect for everyday use. Light G10 scales make up the handle and are simply contoured to fit your hand while remaining unobtrusive. The Nova further places itself in the EDC category of knives with a deep carry pocket clip that allows you to almost forget you are carrying it. Light, affordable, and useful, the Nova has certainly taken its place in our picks for great EDCs.
