Worst Condor product I've ever owned!
I just received the Condor Ironside Viking Swordwhich I had preordered. I was extremely excited to finally get my hands on it after waiting so long and had a huge smile on my face...until I opened the package. Expecting to see a functional and well crafted weapon, such as the Condor Dadao War Sword I own, I was instead shocked to see what looked like a cheap prop or display sword that would be sold at a flea market for about $20. The fit and finish of the entire product screams of cheapness and rushed quality. The blade is way too thin to be functional, the guard and pommel look like they were cast using cheap pot metal, the handle wrapping is cheap synthetic leather, the runes on the blade are nothing more than tape affixed to the blood groove, the scabbard is wrapped in the same cheap synthetic leather as the handle and the wooden belt loop is affixed to the wrong side of the standard. This sword is too cheaply made to be functional and too ugly to be displayed, thereby effectively making worthless. Had it not been packaged in the Condor box I would swear that it was a counterfeit because its quality is nowhere near that of my other Condor products and honestly they should be ashamed of having produced something of such subpar quality and appearance. I wouldn't give $50 for this travesty of a sword, let alone the $212 at which it is sold. I feel cheated and mislead and would like to return this item as soon as possible.There is absolutely nothing good about this sword. Like I said, if it wasn't for the fact that it was packaged in a Condor box and has the Condor logo on guard and scabbard, then I'd swear it was cheap Chinese junk sword.
