CAS Iberia Legacy Arms Knight's Riding Sword 21" Blade, Leather Wrapped Wood Handle and Scabbard - SL7051
Description
CISL7051: Knight's Riding Sword
Legacy Arms
As noted in Ewart Oakeshott's 'Records of the Medieval Sword' (p. 151), an identical sword appears on two early 14th-century effigies from Germany. Both the hilt design and size of these swords match this example, underscoring that such short swords were intended not for boys or archers, but for knights and high nobles.
This sword features a hand-forged blade made from 5160 carbon steel, meticulously tempered for durability. The blade is securely peened at the pommel, and the handle is crafted from wood and wrapped in black leather. It also comes with a wooden scabbard, wrapped in black leather and accented with steel at the throat and tip.
