The Cold Steel Voyager series is designed to be the true "everyman" knife. The ergonomic Griv-Ex handles (reinforced with heat treated 6061 aluminum liners) provide great comfort and a secure grip even under extended use in tough conditions. Now in the line up is an iconic Kris blade Voyager inspired by the fabled blades of Southeast Asia. It offers a wide, thick serpentine-shaped blade that cuts and slashes with particular efficiency due to its razor-sharp undulating edge.
Zytel Handles
A nylon polymer that is lightweight and extremely durable, Zytel can be shaped and textured to provide excellent grip.
Pocket Clip
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
Lockback
The lockback system has been used for many decades. It can usually be found on the knife spine and it provides a strong lockup that will wear well.
AUS-10 Stainless Steel
A dependable and solid performer, this Japanese-made stainless steel features well rounded attributes for most applications.
Beautifully made _extremely_ sharp. I got it for EMT son for fast cutting of straps/restraints/etc, but now I'm not sure I want to give it to him!I have a good collection of very high quality Japanese/Japanese style kitchen knives--including some of AUS-10, even. This blade matches or exceeds them in sharpness and cutting ability in a far tougher and much safer to carry package.
The Kris blade looks unreal in real life. Photos don't do it justice.Highly recommended.
