Description

SP10FPGY: Endura Flat Ground Gray

Spyderco

If you already own a Delica or Endura, you have one of the bestselling knives Spyderco makes. These models are a bit different from the normal C10 Endura4 and C11 Delica 4 Lightweights. They are in a range of handle colors with full-flat ground blades.

Their FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handles come in vibrant tones including blue, green, brown, gray and purple. Molded onto the handle's surface is Bi-Directional Texturing for slip-free tactile traction. Inside the handle are dual skeletonized stainless steel liners which strengthen the knife without additional weight and double as an anchor for external and internal components to attach through generating more sturdiness and rigidity.

The blades are full flat-ground VG-10 with a thinner highly refined cutting edge and a larger 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade's spine is slip resistant jimping. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action and the clip is upgraded to a four-way tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip.

Great as expected
Not a hammer, screw driver, pybar, chisel, or froe. Just a great solid, lightweight pocket knife

Masterpiece.
Here is a pro-tip: if you haven't started collecting knives, just get this (or a Delica). Just get this, carry and use it every day, and don't buy anything else. You will be better equipped, richer, and smarter than just about every "knife collector" out there. I bought a Delica about 10 years ago, and 50-ish knives and a lot of money later, none are really better for my EDC needs than that one.I bought the Endura just to have as a reference and to complete my Seki-City Spydie collection, assuming it would be too large for me. I was shocked at the ergonomics, feel, and usefulness of a larger blade. I have medium-sized hands, I thought the Delica was the size for me, but this one fits my hands just as well, gives me plenty more room on the handle for any grip I want to use. It is large, but folded up it is slim enough, and tucks nicely into the back of my front pocket.I'd rather have S30V or SPY27, but happy with VG10 for the price. The FFG on the blade and thin blade stock is incredible. Easy and strong lock. Plenty of aftermarket for scales and clips. If I could have only one, I think this would be it.

Great Knife
This is a great knife in all aspects. The blade steel is awesome and I truly enjoy the feel of the knife and have confidence in the blade. I feel the grip is very well done even in wet conditions. On top of that the Opening is great to open even in wet conditions including wearing gloves. Very durable, great steel and a nice sleek design. Keeps a fine edge and nothing to sharpen. I judge blades on how they fit my needs and have no problem taking this blade on a 3 day camping trip fishing and camping on Cape Cod which is an area that can totally change from one extreme to another in 20 mins.
