With their rugged Secure-Ex sheaths, specially designed to snugly retain the knife while allowing a speedy draw, they can perform as a handy utility or camp blade, everyday carry knife or rescue tool. Each Mini Tac has thin high-quality textured Griv-Ex handle scales. This feature allows them to lie flat and close against the body while still providing a positive gripping surface. When these scales are combined with integral sub hilt they give the fingers of the hand incredible purchase and facilitate a remarkably secure grip that resists rolling or twisting.

Offering entry-level to mid-range performance, this Japanese-made stainless steel is easy to maintain and has a long history of high quality.
G10 Handles
Formed in a sheet under high pressure by combining fiberglass and an epoxy resin binder. These handles are lightweight and shaped to ensure a solid grip.
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.

The knife is excellent! Sharp, compact and well balanced. My only gripe is with the sheath. It dulls the serrations on the blade and I find extracting the knife difficult, due to not enough purchase on the handle making rapid deployment difficult. Overall, you're getting a lot of knife for the money and I would definitely buy it again knowing it's shortcomings.
